G.Lalis Bar kendisini ilan etmeyen bir mekan türüdür. Pencerede gökkuşağı bayrağı yok, açık kimlik markalaması yok – sadece sıcak bir iç mekan, seramik sürahilerde servis edilen Gürcü şarabı ve Sololaki mahallesi yaratıcı ve alternatif topluluğundan gelen bir kalabalık. Tbilisi'nin LGBTQ+ topluluğu arasında kentin en rahat sosyal mekanlarından biri olarak tanınması, herhangi bir resmi tanımlamadan ziyade burada gelenlerden kaynaklanmaktadır. Bar, on dokuzuncu yüzyıl Sololaki townhouse'unda zemin kat alanını işgal etmektedir – mahalle karakterini tanımlayan, caddeyi aşan oymalı ahşap balkonlu ve yüz elli yıldır sürekli yaşanılan iç mekanlı bina türü. Dekorasyon minimal ve kişisel: eski fotoğraflar, birkaç şişe raflı raf, ahşap masalar, yumuşak aydınlatma. Birinin tam olarak bir bar haline dönüştürülecek kadar genişletilmiş bir ön odasını andırıyor. Şarap listesi Gürcü doğal şaraplarına odaklanmıştır – Gürcistan'ın şarap yapım geleneğini uluslararası alanda ünlü kılan kil qvevri'de cilt teması ile yapılan kehribar şaraplar – ve seçim gerçekten ilgi çekicidir, Kakheti, Kartli ve Imereti'den dönen küçük üreticiler. Yemek basittir: ekmek, peynir, birkaç küçük tabak, Gürcü geleneğinde şaraba eşlik eden şeyler. Fiyatlar uygun. Akşamları kalabalık, Sololaki sakinleri, mahalle stüdyolarında çalışan sanatçılar, topluluk ağları aracılığıyla buraya ulaşan ziyaretçi Avrupalı ve Amerikalılar ve G.Lalis'i düzenli mekan olarak gören istikrarlı LGBTQ+ yerel topluluğunun karışımıdır. Konuşmalar kolayca başlar; personel arkadaş canlısı ve acele değildir; müzik konuşmanız için yeterince sessizdir. Yaz akşamlarında masalar Asatiani Sokağı'nın kaldırımına kadar uzanır ve kehribar şaraplı bir bardak tutarak Sololaki sokak görünümü sizi sardıkça oturmaları yaşamak Tbilisi'nin sunduğu daha iyi deneyimlerden biridir. This bar is located just a few meters away from the Mother of Georgia statue. All here is very good. The staff is very kind, professional and fast, the food and the beers are delicious and the view, well... is simply amazing. Personally I have also loved the presence of the little stray cats and how the staff treated them kindly. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our time at this café. The view is absolutely stunning; even just sitting there and watching the city for a long time is a wonderful experience in itself. The drinks were delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite. We thank them for their hospitality. My only small suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music a little. With such a beautiful view, a quieter and more peaceful atmosphere would make the experience even more special. I'm sharing this purely as constructive feedback because everything else was excellent. Thank you for everything! We really enjoyed our time at this café. The view is absolutely stunning, and simply sitting there while taking in the scenery is a wonderful experience. The drinks were delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. We would like to thank them for their warm hospitality.
