Sachsenhausen Anıtı — Pembe Üçgen Mahkumları

My family and I visited on a Thursday in August. I don't recommend going on hot days, as the visit is outdoors. We rented an audio guide for €3.50, which explained everything quite well. The camp is quite large, and the exhibits inside the few remaining buildings are very interesting. I recommend allowing plenty of time, as it takes a long time to explore the entire camp and its buildings.

It served as a "test case" for other, more famous ones. It has reconstructed barracks and living quarters. It's very large and impressive, in any case.

It's amazing how well it's been preserved, thank you to all the people involved, and I think this place is great for the school, you learn history there.

A very sombre place considering what it was built for who built it in the first place and what was done to 1000's of men and women there. If you are studying historical things about the 2 world wars, this should be on your list to visit. Some of the historical documents and display in here will make you think about your own humanity.

Entry is free, and the audio guide costs €3.50. It's not bad; the burning barracks are impressive. Wear comfortable shoes as there's a lot of walking involved.
