The Grand Hotel Leicester

The Grand Hotel is the large Victorian hotel on Granby Street, formerly the Mercure Leicester The Grand and now part of The Unlimited Collection. It has 4.0 on Google from about 1,100 reviews; reviewers tend to rate the building and location above the rooms. For a gay night out its position is hard to beat. The Dover Castle on Dover Street is about two minutes' walk, Rainbow & Dove on Charles Street around five, and Helsinki on Rutland Street about ten. The railway station is roughly ten minutes away.
