The Ingleside Hotel

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed 8/20-8/22 which was during the week. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the waterpark was fun, but unfortunately that's about the only positive thing about our stay. We were hoping to have a nice relaxing mini getaway, but the room we were given was on the first floor and our view was an employee break area 3 feet from our window outside. We had to keep the curtain shut the entire time or else we would have random people staring in at us. We were woken up at 6am each morning from employees going on their break talking very loudly and also employees outside our door walking up and down the halls. We were very disappointed with our stay and we probably won't be back. We spent over 200 a night for a bad experience and felt stressed instead of relaxed. The room we had shouldn't even be used as a guest room period. Please consider using this feedback to make a change for future guests so they dont have the same bad experience we did.

Nice room, great service. Could smell someone smoking pot, but didn't care

I was there for the cancer survivor event that ProHealth sponsored! It was held in the beautiful Lake Country Ballroom. The staff from The Ingleside Hotel were all so very kind and helpful. The hors d'oeuvres were so good! So thankful for this time of encouragement!

I booked my son’s sixth birthday celebration here for the second time. We also celebrated his third birthday with this facility because we had such a WONDERFUL experience with them the first time. However, our second visit wasn’t as pleasant! First let me share with you all that in order to have a birthday party it’s a $200 deposit! No problem that’s understandable, then it’ cost me an additional $430 for the rest of the party. Fine, reasonable prices for 12 wrist bands that are normally $55 a pop okay great saved me $30 lol. The party comes with two pizzas of your choice, 12 drinks & 12 bags of chips. I was allowed about 10 minutes prior to our original birthday slot to decorate since we were the first ones & I truly appreciate Rebecca for allowing me to do so. Thank You ☺️. I also booked a presidential suite so 6 of the kids could spend the night and continue to swim Sunday. That suite cost me $518.67. Which I found later online for only $125. I definitely will include my photo receipts. The room was designed nicely and I truly loved the beautiful bathtub it comes with which normally a lot of hotels just provide showers so that truly was a bonus. My problem with all that being said is that I spent $1,148.67 for me to have way too many issues with this company. Let’s start with number #1…some of the parents that were apart of our birthday party didn’t want to go swimming but did want to come down to the water park so they could sing happy birthday and take pictures of their kids. They informed me that everyone that went downstairs had to have a wristband which again, cost $55 per person 🤯. YES!, even if they were FULLY CLOTHED & NOT swimming. WOW 😟. So, of course they left cause who’s going to pay 💰 that much just to SIT & WATCH 👀? NO ONE‼️ Moving on to #2…once we were leaving the water park heading to our hotel 🏨 room I asked if there was an easier way to access our room instead of loading everyone up and driving around? They said YES, but you have to have a hotel room key 🔑. Okay no problem I have two keys but then the lady told me that my party was too big for me to move forward and if anybody didn’t have a green bracelet (which is over night) could not move forward! So we okay fine whatever went outside to gather ourselves and the kids but it was way too cold 🥶 for everyone to be wet and walk around. So we went back inside & went towards the entry gate and what do we see, the women had called SECURITY 🙄🤯😤. I over hear the security guards asking the woman “now which group were you saying is oversized for their room?” Wait what 🤔? Now @ that point I’m going to admit I went off & raised my voice because I couldn’t believe she called SECURITY over literally NOTHING!. It was myself, another mom & 6 kids so a total of 8 people. So in my mind I’m thinking 💭 about how much money I’ve spent on what I thought 💭 was going to be a great experience because again we’ve celebrated here before and now has turned into such a horrible experience dealing with some of there staff. Honestly, it wasn’t even the staff, they were just following their policy but it was the way they handled & treated the situation. The rudeness was not necessary and disrespectful! I will definitely NOT book another party or spend another dime here. Their policies are ridiculous especially when it comes to having wristbands if (YOU ARE NOT SWIMMING‼️) The rudeness with some of the staff was overwhelming to be real and I just truly didn’t appreciate that & when I found out that the room I paid $518.67 could have gotten online for $125 I was very disturbed 😳. Please choose wisely before booking with this company! Definitely NOT the same experience once they’ve changed their name. Country Springs was a better name anyway 🤣🙄.

We ended up at the Ingleside due to not having any hot water for a few days - it was a LOVELY room, very clean, and the shower was amazing. We were on the first floor, closer to the water park, so there was some noise during the day, but it wasn't a problem for us. Lots of parking and it felt quiet despite being close to the interstate. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
