I am a queer woman who is very familiar with the Jongno area. Recently, I happened to run into a friend who invited me to join them briefly at this bar. However, as soon as I entered with a gay male friend, a staff member rushed over and told me that women were not allowed. While I am aware of and respect the "men only" policy held by many gay bars, the way it was handled was deeply problematic. The staff member grabbed both of my shoulders and physically escorted me out. I would have fully respected their policy had it been communicated politely and verbally. Treating an assigned-female-at-birth (AFAB) person as if they are a significant threat or a source of extreme discomfort is quite shocking in the 21st century. Even in the early 2000s, I never experienced such hostility, even at conservative bars frequented by older generations. This experience was incredibly unpleasant. Establishments should clearly post their "Gay Male Only" policies at the entrance. Furthermore, even if a guest—or even a regular who is unaware of the rule—accidentally violates a policy, staff should never resort to physical contact to remove them.

A beautifully decorated bar with very friendly bartenders who also speak fluent English. The perfect place to chat in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Had a solo drink at a table at this lovely little bar. I felt well looked after and the drink was amazing. Definitely worth the visit,

Some snobby passive aggressive people think the owners discriminate foreigners. They don’t. If you show up alone or two people show up you’re supposed to be seated in the bar, not in a table (sorry this is a cultural thing). Even if there is an empty table and your party is fewer than four and there is no seating available at the bar, you’d probably be asked to leave regardless if you’re a foreigner or not

The bar is good, but beware of this guy. He often drinks in this building. He likes to play underhand tricks on foreigners. He’s downright nasty.

The bar has a stylish and relaxing atmosphere, decorated with indirect lighting and fresh flowers. They serve cocktails and wine. The bartender spoke Japanese.

The atmosphere is good.
