A recommended bar in Jongno! <Shutter> I highly recommend Shutter, a bar in Jongno where I have a great time every time I visit thanks to its delicious and diverse cocktails and stylish interior! It’s even better because they hold seasonal events and offer unique and tasty food options 😀

It was stylish, spacious, and the staff were friendly, making it a truly comfortable place to be. They have a great selection of drinks, including Korean ramen, so it's perfect for your first stop or your last stop of the night. They speak Japanese, English, and of course Korean, so I felt completely at ease and could enjoy my drinks. No matter what country you're from, including Japan, you'll definitely have a great time drinking here in Korea!

I'm from Japan. It was my first time at a gay bar in Seoul, so I was a little nervous, but the staff spoke excellent Japanese and were friendly to Japanese people, making me feel very comfortable. (I visited two days in a row.) Some staff members also speak English, so I highly recommend this bar as a gateway for a wide range of foreigners to experience Seoul's gay culture.

The moment you open the door and step inside, you hear the pleasant greetings of the wonderful owner and staff. You immediately realize this is a place to savor the atmosphere along with the drinks. A place where the sound of ice clinking in glasses blends naturally with the music!! It doesn't feel awkward even if you come alone, and conversations deepen even if you come with someone. A bar where you find yourself lingering for no reason. A night that you find yourself thinking about again for no reason. A place where the atmosphere, the drinks, and even the time are all perfectly ripe. Shutter Seoul !! 👍

I visited Shutter and the atmosphere was great, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and open, so even first-timers wouldn't feel intimidated. The cocktails were clean and well-balanced. The staff were friendly and made great recommendations, and they spoke foreign languages, so it would be comfortable to visit with a foreign friend. And honestly, the staff's visuals were nice, which made the overall atmosphere even more enjoyable. I would definitely return.

The first time I went, I fell in love at first sight with the cool atmosphere, and it’s a bar I can’t get enough of because of the friendliness and fun! It’s always fun here, with periodic limited edition cocktails, collaboration cocktails, and seasonal events like Halloween, Christmas, and year-end countdowns🔥 Except for my first visit with friends, the atmosphere is so comfortable and fun that I could go alone every time, so I highly recommend it!❤❤

Shuttle Bar is such a great place with an amazing atmosphere. The vibe is fun, welcoming, and inclusive, making it easy to relax and enjoy the night. The music, crowd, and overall energy create a really comfortable space for everyone. What truly stands out is the staff — they are incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They make sure guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive, which really adds to the experience. As a foreigner, I felt completely comfortable here. The bar is very foreigner-friendly, and communication was easy even without speaking much Korean. People are open, respectful, and easy to talk to. If you’re looking for a gay bar in Seoul with a great atmosphere, warm staff, and an inclusive environment, Shuttle Bar is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended for both locals and travelers.

It seems to be a newly opened bar in Korea, so I went there after being recommended it. There are Japanese staff on site all the time, so it was very comfortable! The entrance was flashy and made quite an impact. The drinks and snacks served were both very elegant and delicious. I'd love to go again when I come to Korea!

As soon as I open the door and step inside, I hear people laughing and clinking glasses. The atmosphere isn't closed off to just us, so it's a place where you don't feel awkward even if you go alone! Even if I had to look at the menu for a cocktail, the staff quickly picked up my preferences, so it didn't take long to decide. Just asking them whether I wanted something sweet or refreshing, and what the ABV level would be, they knew what to expect. The space is generally lively, so after a while, your voice naturally rises, and even just sitting there creates a sense of excitement. While cocktails are cocktails, I love the constant, lively atmosphere. Conversation flows naturally, so I think I'll be back here often when I'm in Jongno!
