Where to Stay in Campinas: Hotels Near the Scene
Campinas has no gay hotels, but it has plenty of mainstream business hotels, and same-sex couples won't have any trouble at any of the places below. The best base is Cambuí: it's the safest and most walkable part of town, with the city's best restaurants, the Noxus cruising bar, and a short ride to Livre Club and Azzur in Vila Itapura.
Cambuí

Melia Campinas
Rua Severo Penteado 140. An upscale chain hotel with a pool, sauna, gym, restaurant and bar. It rates 4.5 on Google from more than 3,200 reviews and is mostly used by business travellers, so weekend rates can be lower.
Radisson RED Campinas
Avenida Júlio de Mesquita 705. A modern design hotel with an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bar, and breakfast included. It rates 4.6 from about 2,100 reviews.

I Am Design Hotel + Residence
Rua dos Alecrins 745. Hotel rooms and apartment-style units, good for longer stays. It rates 4.6 from about 1,000 reviews. Recent reviews mention check-out queues and pool-pump noise on the upper floors.
Hotel Dan Inn Campinas Cambuí
Avenida Júlio de Mesquita 139. The budget option in Cambuí, with simple rooms and breakfast included. It rates 4.2 from about 2,600 reviews.
Elsewhere in the city
Royal Palm Tower Anhanguera
A large hotel by the Anhanguera highway in Jardim Nova Califórnia. It's best if you're driving, and it's about 15 minutes by car from the bars. It rates 4.7 from about 1,500 reviews.
Fênix Hotel Campinas
A modest hotel in Jardim Leonor with breakfast and parking, rated 3.9 from about 2,300 reviews. It's practical rather than charming.
Near Viracopos airport
Siesta Box Viracopos rents small cabins inside the terminal, which is useful for early flights but no place for a weekend. Pousada & Alojamento Santos Dumont is a simple, well-reviewed guesthouse a short drive from the airport, with secure parking.
