Hotel Pascual Andino

Good option for accommodation.

Excellent location right next to the main street. Great staff and considerate service. No restaurant or bar on site. Breakfast is simple, but very fresh and tasty. You have to let them know every day if planning to have breakfast the following morning. They have a water filter/dispenser for drinking water. I liked the design of the room. It was clean and the AC worked great. But the hotel did have some issues which would affect my decision to stay here again: 1) the king size bed was just two single beds pushed together. You can feel the edges if trying to sleep in the middle. 2) the hotel is noisy early in the mornings. They have an electronic key system where the locks beep when opened. Rooms are not noise isolated at all. People leave for tours at different times starting at 5am so all you here is beeping when the doors are opened and slamming when they are being closed. I had my earplugs but even then could not fully block out the sound. 3) the staff and housekeeping start moving around early too. You can hear talking, housekeeping carts moving, etc. as early as 7:30-8am. 4) they are doing repairs/improvements on the property and is not noted anywhere during the booking process. The staff asked to leave the premises mid-day on Easter due yo to plumbing repairs. I was on tour anyway so wasn’t affected much, but if one planned to relax in the room it would have been one frustrating holiday😀 Overall, ok place to stay if you are not planning to spend much time at the hotel.

Our experience at Pascual Andino was excellent from beginning to end. From arrival to departure, everything was impeccable. The hotel stands out for its cleanliness—everything was always very organized, with high-quality bed linens and towels, providing great comfort throughout the stay. In addition, the staff is extremely attentive and helpful, always willing to assist with anything needed. One point that positively surprised us was the flexibility after check-out. Even leaving on time, we were informed that we could continue using the hotel facilities, including common areas and even showers, which made all the difference for those who still had tours planned for the day. Another advantage is the availability of purified water throughout the day, as well as the care for guests who leave early for tours: the hotel prepares a snack with a sandwich, juice, and fruit, ensuring that no one leaves without eating. These are details that show the care and attention given to each guest. We wholeheartedly recommend it! And, if we return to Atacama, Pascual Andino will again be our choice.

Excellent location near restaurants and the city center, they always drop you off first for tours, I didn't get to try the breakfast but they gave us snacks to take with us

We had an excellent 2 nights here. Rooms are on a traditional style and are very well appointed with spacious bathrooms and excellent bedding. The breakfast was very good too. It was also a bonus to have parking available as we were driving. The hotel is very well located with shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away. San Pedro is a delightful town and very glad we chose to stay here.

Excellent from arrival to departure! Extremely clean, excellent bed linens and towels, super helpful staff. We checked out on time, but were informed that we could use all the hotel facilities, including showers and common areas, until our transfer arrived, which was only at the end of the day. Congratulations to the whole team.

Everything was just right: cleanliness, facilities, comfort, and location. The Wi-Fi was excellent, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast simple but beautifully presented with something for every taste. The pool is on the smaller side, but absolutely fine considering you are in the driest place on earth. Complimentary bikes are available as well. What truly made this stay unforgettable, however, were the incredibly attentive and warm-hearted people working here. Constanza especially stole our hearts – what a wonderful person!

Had very wonderful four days here.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent, right in the centre of San Pedro, and very convenient for everything. The rooms and common areas are beautiful, the breakfast is very good, and the staff are generally kind, helpful, and quick to respond. Unfortunately, several issues seriously affected our stay. There were repairs happening throughout the entire time we were there. The pool was completely unusable, and on one day we were not even able to use our room after breakfast because work was being done inside it. None of this was clearly communicated in advance, which made it feel like we were paying full price for a partially unavailable hotel. The worst part was the checkout day. We had an evening bus to the airport, and the hotel kindly allowed us to stay in the shared areas during the day. However, just as we were about to leave for the bus, staff suddenly confronted us about some towels that had been lent to us for a tour. They had the whole day to ask about this, but instead waited until the very last minute, creating a stressful and awkward situation. We are confident the towels were taken during cleaning, but we were made to feel as if we had done something wrong while we were rushing to catch our bus. Overall, this could be a great hotel, but poor organisation around maintenance and checkout handling left us with a bad final impression.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. All the staff were good, the breakfast was really nice. And the location is excellent.
