City Express by Marriott Tijuana Río

Thank you, excellent service, good breakfast, everything was magnificent.

The rooms are very small

The sheets were dirty, the mini-split was very noisy, the rooms were hot, and the buffet was mediocre; there's a lot of room for improvement.

Excellent service, all the staff are very attentive

The hotel is very old, they don't clean regularly, the receptionists are unfriendly (the men aren't). The buffet is so-so. The price is reasonable, but it's not the best.

The staff is friendly, or at least most of them are. The breakfast is adequate, and they always have coffee available. The location is good; you can walk to Plaza Río, and the bus stop for the crossing is just a few minutes away by Uber. The rooms are nice, small but comfortable. The only downside was that my air conditioner was too noisy, and I had to turn it off to sleep. The internet in my room was terrible; my cell phones and laptop were constantly slow. Parking is free and seems safe. There's a 7-Eleven a 3-minute walk away.

If you have an extra $20 or $40 stay at another Marriot. By far this place is terrible, horrible customer service and the front desk is super rude, they rather be taking and be on Their phones then helping guest. I arrive 1 hr early asked if they can check for room they didn’t bother just said no check at 3pm and continue to be on Their phone. They gave cero sympathy for anyone traveling far, AC is terrible, rooms are dirty and smell really bad. I would definitely never ever stay here again. By the way their phones just ring and ring and the front desk just chooses not to answer I saw it with my own eyes while waiting at reception.

Definitely one of the best express services, excellent bathroom, comfortable rest, air-conditioned room, perfect breakfast to start work, excellent staff service.

My experience with the lost and found service was very disappointing. I left three caps at the hotel, hanging them up, and when I realized, I contacted them to report them. The receptionist took my report and told me they would call me back, but they never did. Later, I had to call again, and the housekeeper again asked for my information. She even mentioned that the descriptions they had on file were different from what I had provided. I clearly confirmed the details and colors of the three caps, and she said she would check and call me back in about 10 minutes. Again, I never received the call. I had to call a third time, and the receptionist again took my information, only to finally tell me they hadn't found anything. Frankly, it's a very unpleasant situation and leaves a very bad impression of how they handle lost and found. I completely understand that an item might not be found, but the least I expected was follow-up, communication, and a serious response to the report, especially since it involves three items that I know I left at the hotel and didn't take with me anywhere else. I am very disappointed by the lack of attention and follow-up I received throughout the entire process.
