Hotel Lucerna Tijuana

Nice place, clean and pleasant rooms, good service

I loved this hotel for its location, tranquility, service, and the variety of its restaurants and bar.

Rooms were a bit outdated. AC did not work in our first room. We were moved and AC was a bit better but still did not get cold enough. Rooms have odd smell to them. I would not stay again.

In my opinion, the best hotel in Tijuana. Location, service, quality, and warmth. It has very friendly staff and top-notch facilities: restaurant, pool, lounges, gardens, and the K Tower with the best view of Zona Rio Tijuana. There's simply no other like it.

The receptionist, Aime, tries to be as unhelpful as possible; she has that old-fashioned, unwelcoming kind of hospitality. I had to insist several times to get a simple answer. The meeting room had no air conditioning and smelled terrible. It's not an expensive hotel, but for the price, there are much better options. The City Express Plus is cheaper and far superior in every way. Omar, the bellboy, was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Mexicali location, Came with friends and family. Rooms were clean, double beds are just enough for max 2ppl MAX weather it be kids or adults. Staff was very cautious and attentive. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Pools were clean. Entire property was clean.

The hotel is a bit old for what it charges; at least the rooms in the back are two stories and don't have an elevator. The rooms in the front, in the same building as the reception, are definitely worth it!

If you are used to great service and staff it has changed!! Arrived with my service dog after staying here several times. Told my room on 5th floor- select - has been changed. I'm on the 1st floor in dingy old building. No security- anyone can walk right up to your door. No food offerings. Can't go to restaurants with service dog! They now take pets! Told them several times, he is not a pet or a companion dog. He is a SERVICE DOG! gave them letters etc. Never been a problem. Now, new mgmt it is. Room is noisy, not everything works. If you liked Hotel Lucerna for family like feeling- forget it!! If you are a pet owner- be prepared to be treated like 2nd class citizen!!
