Days Inn by Wyndham Bismarck

This place was a lifesaver for family we had in town. They had booked elsewhere unaware that the pool and hottub were out of commission. All the kids wanted to do was swim and us adults wanted to relax in the hot tub. So I called booked a room for a night even though I live in town. We had a mini one night vacation, front desk woman was so nice and breakfast in the morning was free and cooked to order so amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone passing through Bismarck, I didn't think of a Days Inn as being one of the nicer low budget hotels but WOW did they surprise me! I told them that night Id be giving a great review so here it is. It's not super fancy but TVs are awesome beds are super comfy, curtains actually cover and block out ALL the light, AC worked great, and POOL towels were top notch (nothing like you'd expect from a hotel pool).

Room had trash from previous guests. Sink barely drained. Toilet flushed extremely slowly. Monday morning it didn’t flush. Didn’t send a maintenance person until 6:30pm or later

THE WORST hotel stay I have ever experienced. They advertised no smoking in all rooms, yet the rooms smelled so strong of cigarette smoke and cleaning fumes it made me physically ill. All signage in the hotel states breakfast is open until 10 am, but my they pack everything away at 9:15 (while my husband HAD A WAFFLE COOKING in the waffle maker). The front desk told him we would just have to “share” a waffle.

0/5 do not recommend Lazy staff, filthy rooms, and poor service We arrived on Memorial Day weekend. The room was filthy. I found dog food, crumbs, mnms, and trash on the floor next to the bed. Body hair on the toilet. Room smelled musty. And for two adults they only gave us 2 towels for an entire weekend Staff service is horrible. I asked them if I could change rooms or have someone vacuum it. The front desk told me “they’d send someone to clean it in 10 minutes” that never happened. I kept having to ask the desk for more towels and every time they would say “they’re all out of clean ones”. Do you know how disgusting it is for 2 adults to only use the same two towels for an entire weekend.

Room's were clean and beds were very nice. Hotel staff was very helpful with getting us 2 rooms as close as could be, being that we had our kids with us and we were able to get them a room next to us.

Stayed at this hotel - service was great lady at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. Once we got to the room was where the problems started: the lamps where unplugged so we had to move things just to plug them back in, the outlets would not hold a charger they just kept falling out, sheets had stains as did the carpet. Breakfast was okay, eggs made too your liking. Would not stay here again though, felt very icky.

There is no heat. They turned off the heat for the summer. It's going to be 35 degrees tonight and it's not summer. Got to my room, fridge didn't work, lights were flickering, and no heat. Also they charge a 150 dollar fee for incidentals that they do not disclose until after you're booked. I made the reservation 3 days ago, I live 500 miles away, everything else in town is booked. No mention of incidentals fee until I got here. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in all my life, and I work out of town frequently and stay in hotels constantly. Unbelievably bad business. The owners should lose their franchise license and I will be contacting both their corporate office and the City of Bismarck about the heat. Negative 10 thousand stars were it possible. I have already told one person who was checking in that there are no rooms with heat left, and they walked out. I hope I find 10 more people. Maybe if you lose enough business you'll stop being slum lords. But I doubt it.

Fun atmosphere

It’s been almost a week I still haven’t received my $100 they took trying to sit here and say my family took a few towels when we never once’s touched any towels or did we even shower we was only in the room to sleep and get back on the road first thing in the morning the only items we brought into that room was our kids blankets they say they got video evidence we took the towels and that they was gonna email it over it’s now been a week and nothing I call to ask to speak to the manager and the lady at the front desk said she would have her call me as soon as possible and yet been a week no call and now all of a sudden nobody answers the phone and they also took down my last review so I gladly put it back up I’m not gonna stop until I get our money back they took and for wrongly accusing my family this isn’t okay and if you look at reviews they sadly done this a lot with other family’s

Stayed here one night with my family. The counter person was new, can't blame him for that, but can blame management. One person in front of us. 45 minutes later. We are up-painful, painful, painful. 45 minutes -1 hour to get checked in. I used Expedia-the room was paid for. Took 30 minutes to tell me I still owed money-because he was not trained for that, and was completely lost. There were 2 people after us-obviously mad. Someone stopped on there way out to tell us it took them 45 minutes too. The room was subpar. Left at 5 am so I cant comment on breakfast. FYI their policy of a "refundable $150 deposit" was plastered all over. No deposit-no Check in. I wont be back.
