Idaho City Hotel

What a wonderful experience at this lovely, quaint, & maybe haunted? hotel! The manager Lora was amazingly accommodating! We ended up double-booking a hotel and she was so extremely helpful and accommodating it made the whole stay worth it- recommend it all the way!

Laura, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She truly embodied that classic Western hospitality you don’t come across every day. The hotel was clean, cozy, and had a homey charm that made it feel like a peaceful and welcoming place to land in the mountains of Idaho City. I only stayed for the night, but I wish I had stayed longer to check out all the neat western stores and restaurants in walking distance. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We came into town for a family reunion and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This hotel exceeded all our expectations and helped make our vacation truly unforgettable. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The spacious yard was perfect for our family gatherings, with plenty of room for the kids to play and for everyone to relax and connect. A special thank you to Laura, the hotel host, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for such a beautiful experience and can’t wait to return!

My son and I were in Idaho City to ride dirt bikes over last weekend. We ended up staying at the Idaho City Hotel and it by far exceeded my expectations. The room was great - very comfortable and very clean. The best part of the stay was the very kind and welcoming woman who checked us in. She truly wanted us to feel welcome, and we were very appreciative of the pride that she took in her job and in the hotel. It was a great stay and one we hope to repeat soon!

Great people I've known them for years Roger and his wife jeri really go out their way to make sure your stay is comfortable...Jeri really makes the best apple rhubarb pie..I will do my best to get there this year...tell them that B J SAID HI AND I MISS THE BOTH OF THEM

Long story short, car trouble in the middle of the mountains and ended up in this small town in the middle of the night with 3 kids. The amazing woman that runs this hotel was more than accommodating. The hotel is simple, beautiful and full of history. I woke up to see this town and its historic vibe and walkable streets. I highly recommend this hotel as a stop on any adventure out this way.

Never had an issue here. Rooms are gorgeous and rustic, but be prepared to bring a cooler. I believe they may have a communal mini fridge. Always very quaint and kind staff.

We got in super late, and the owner was so kind and accommodating. The room was super cozy and clean. The bed was so comfy and the common room so homey. Thank you so much for the good night sleep!
