Old Town Tavern
Visitors often describe Old Town Tavern as a fun, traditional dive bar with a lively atmosphere and opportunities for dancing and playing pool. However, many reviewers complain about rude bartenders and watered-down drinks. Some also note the strong smell of cigarette smoke, as smoking is permitted indoors.

Becky, leslie & Bruce are by far the best I’m not usually a go to a Carmel bar person but she makes me feel right at home
Eunice behind the bar is amazing!
So rude. I understand needing to safeguard parking to secure available spots for your customers, but it’s completely unacceptable for a parking attendant to physically get in the face of and yell at/belittle an out of town guest unfamiliar and not understanding the layout.
This place is so terrible that they won't even care about my 1 star reviews. That should tell you all you need to know. Horrible regulars and even worse bartender.
The food is terrible. The bartender is rude This place sucks
I used to work over in downtown Carmel and would always see so many people coming in and out from my cafe from here so I decided to come and test it out now that I’m 21. I walked in and I’m hit with the immediate smell of cigar and cigarettes. You are allowed to smoke in here I did see it in reviews before I came so I was not tripping over this at all. The service was immediate but the pour was like I was drinking straight juice, Waste of $6 for the drink I got. The only time I felt like I was actually drinking was when I got a shot of Tito’s and a high noon from the cooler. I got an amaretto sour and it again was straight juice and not even the right kind of juice it was not an amaretto sour at all. I will not be back and I hope you will listen to these reviews before you visit. The atomosphere is good lots of laughs and good conversations everywhere. Quick service will come but at the price of you paying for juice. The pricing is decent about $6 for a high noon, $6 for a shot of Tito’s, and $6 for the “amaretto sour”
Cool atmosphere but everything else is terrible the heavy set bar tender was very rude and made the drinks super weak
