About the event

A monthly, interactive story telling event centering LGBTQIA+ women in Philadelphia. This month, we will be discussing the History of Lesbian Motherhood with Mary Groce. We will begin by listening to archival radio show footage from Women’s Consciousness Raising Hour (An interview with Rosalie Davies, the founder of Custody Action for Lesbian Mothers) and then transition to a group discussion with Mary Groce surrounding her own experiences with motherhood and the history of child custody for lesbian mothers. Light refreshments provided.
