EVOL

EVOL is a nightclub at 69 Hope Street in Gardens, on the edge of the city centre, and it describes itself as an inclusive venue. It isn't a gay bar. Still, Cape Town nightlife magazine Texx and the City wrote in 2026 that it has become the base of the city's underground queer party scene. Collectives such as Bathhouse and Death of Glitter have held their parties here. The club has no fixed weekly hours, and the nights it opens depend on what's booked.
