POD Camps Bay

A lovely experience here on our honeymoon despite only staying one night and our final night. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. They gave us a champagne upon arrival and a whole bottle in the room that was super kind and unexpected! There was more champagne at a very good and included breakfast! The room was spacious, modern and very nice with a free fridge to go with it. We didn’t use the pool as it was winter. Nice views of the beach from the balcony!

We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, and the service is truly exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon feel extra special. The breakfast was outstanding with a fantastic selection and excellent quality. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The Hotel view was breathtaking, and the breakfast was delicious. I’m still craving the Eggs Benedict and would love to have it again! Every little detail made our stay unforgettable, and I truly hope to visit again.

Excellent location, service and rooms! A stone's throw from Camps Bay Beach and all the vibrant restaurant and bars it offers. The rooms are modern and beautiful with great views of the water and Table Mountain. Service is outstanding - with the staff being so friendly and willing to help with every question, concern or favor. The breakfast at this place is also AMAZING!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at POD Camps Bay Hotel for our honeymoon. Everything exceeded expectations from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was also a highlight—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start each day. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Their attention to detail and genuine friendliness stood out throughout our stay. From constantly ensuring we had water, to the thoughtful touch of hot water bottles in the bed at night, and the regular room turn-down and tidying—nothing was ever too much trouble. The level of care and service made us feel completely looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Camps Bay

POD Camps Bay exceeded every expectation and was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of Camps Bay and the surrounding coastline. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, while the food was consistently outstanding. What truly sets POD apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. A special thank you to Sean, who went above and beyond to help coordinate activities, assist with logistics, and even arrange for our bags to be safely held and delivered to the airport while we traveled to Botswana and returned. His attention to detail and willingness to help made our trip seamless. The breakfast staff deserves special recognition as well. They were, without question, the best breakfast team I have ever encountered at any hotel. Every morning they greeted us with warm smiles, impeccable service, and a level of hospitality that made us feel like family. POD Camps Bay has mastered the art of luxury hospitality. Between the breathtaking location, incredible food, beautiful accommodations, and world-class service, this is a hotel I would recommend without hesitation and look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful hotel in Cape Town. Modern facilities and contemporary design. The highlight is definitely the staff — everyone is extremely polite and attentive, always greeting you by name and genuinely caring about your experience. Absolutely outstanding! On top of that, they offer a complimentary minibar with drinks, including soft drinks, wine, and beer, all replenished daily. Simply impressive. We stayed there for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, there is parking available, and the entire experience is incredible. I also have to mention the breakfast, which is absolutely divine! They serve smoked salmon and have an enviable à la carte menu with Eggs Benedict, French toast, and many other amazing options. Everything is very refined. Oh, and they even serve sparkling wine at breakfast — amazing! You can also have breakfast delivered to your room. Overall, everything feels very personalized and tailored to each guest. The entire team is always willing to help with anything you need. I highly recommend this perfect hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town.

I had a wonderful two night stay here and the next time I’m in Cape Town I’ll have to stay for longer. The kindness and friendliness of the staff was unmatched, the views were stunning, and the location was perfectly situated in the heart of Camps Bay. As a solo female traveler I felt so safe and warm here; I enthusiastically recommend this hotel over and over!
