關於此地 Dado Beach

Dado Beach is Haifa's longest and busiest public beach, with a paved promenade, cafés and restaurants, and lifeguards in season. It is an ordinary public beach. There is no marked gay section, though some of northern Israel's LGBTQ locals use it as an informal meeting spot, mostly in summer and on weekends. The beach is free, and facilities such as showers and toilets run along the promenade. Getting there takes a bus or a car from the city centre or the Carmel. Do not expect anything like Tel Aviv's Hilton Beach scene; treat it as a decent city beach where nobody will mind you being out.

Way too crowded, no parking spaces, competition for the same spots and no shade of course unless you pay for it On the other hand, sunsets are breathtaking. Bottom line, choose carefully your time

We came to Dado Beach as Bat Galim was full and no parking the advantage here is the availability of parking. Is a long beach with many towers with life-guards that create areas of bathing marked by red-flags where you are allowed to bathe. They are constantly shouting orders to the bathers....instead of letting people some freedom. They closed before 7pm, so you were not allowed to enter the water....and the tower a 100 mts away still allowed.... it was very crowded with families, understandable on a Saturday afternoon. Water was nice and clean....the little I managed to enjoy.....

Went for a quiet walk today on the beach in Haifa. Quiet....I thought! There were more people on the beach then on shabbat. People were looking for an open place with lot's of fresh air and that you can get on the beach usually. But my walk was still better then being inside all day. I think I'll go again tomorrow. By the way bring your own drinks and food since restaurants are closed. Public toilets are open but not very clean. Enjoy the Med in Haifa.

Great beach! Gigantic amounts of sand, free parking, showers, toiletts, lifeguards, excellent water temperature(early october), big waves keep coming, and theres enough of those artificial shade makers for everyone to find a free place under.

The summer morning life of Haifa pensioners is rather monotonous... After a 1.5-hour early (when not very hot) walk along the sea, sit in the shade, read, breathe the sea air and swim. Dado Beach helps us very well in these hours of our life. It is clean, spacious, well equipped, not very crowded. Rescuers work here reliably and carefully, many restaurants and cafes, showers and changing rooms. If you come here in the evening or on weekends, you can clearly see that non-pensioners also love the Beach: finding a place at the table is not easy, and you can meet friends on the boardwalk. Amazing pictures of the Haifa sunset also attracts.

The beach is a nice for a swimming especially with children. There are small or no waves, the same is nice and clean. It’s also shallow, you need to walk out a little to get some deeper water. No sweeps or rips. The only down side is the constant yelling over the load speakers by the life guards. No idea what or who they are yelling at, nobody pays any attention to them. This is the same along the entire beach with all the lifeguard towers. You definitely won’t fall asleep on the beach.

This is a very popular beach, long, with a promenade populated by restaurants. Due to sea conditions and beach erosion the bathing space is limited. Many services are available, including major train and bus stations nearby. Crowded during the summer.

Beautiful, clean beach, ample parking (though it can be difficult to find a spot on Saturdays or Sundays), a walking area, and restaurants. You'll find everything you need to have a good time and enjoy time with friends or family.

Clean, tidy, excellent facilities and life guards. Lovely beach. Clean and tidy. Full of changing rooms, toilets, drinking facilities and most importantly lifeguards. There is plenty of parking but it depends on when you arrive, especially during the holiday season. There is a train across the road so it is very convenient.
