Bar T-ZONE (東心斎橋 ティゾーン)

This is a place where everyone can have a great time, regardless of whether they're Japanese or foreign, gay or straight. The staff are all great, ranging from gay to straight, from veterans to cute youngsters. It really feels like a mixed bar. Besides drinks, you can sing karaoke, and they put a lot of effort into customer service.

We went on a Saturday night and it was a very fun and cute experience. The owner and staff came up to us to chat and we sang karaoke together.

We stumbled upon this bar quite by chance, and we loved it! The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and despite the language barrier, we had a great chat with the very kind waiter! I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Osaka!

Went on a Wed night and stayed for a few hours. Ryo was so kind and made a lot of effort through Google Translate to talk to me. If you're looking for a tradional Japanese bar experience that is LGBT and foreigner friendly, this is the spot. Even though tips are not a thing in Japan, you should offer to buy your bartender a drink.

I went alone, but they took good care of even a total loner like me, and we had a fun conversation at the bar despite my broken Japanese. There were people chatting with their companions at the tables and others singing comfortably; the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and relaxed. It was the most enjoyable time I had in Osaka. The seating charge is 1,000 yen, which apparently includes a small snack and the karaoke fee. I think the owner took extra good care of me because he likes Korean dramas and K-pop. I wanted to go again but unfortunately couldn't. It's a place I'll definitely visit again if I come to Osaka.. (luke)
