Eagle Osaka occupies its own small building at 12-8 Doyama-cho, across three floors. Osaka's tourism bureau gives March 2024 as the opening of the current venue and notes it is cashless. It is one of the most visitor-friendly bars in Doyama: the crowd mixes Japanese regulars and travellers, and the bar runs its own events, such as a LOUD & PROUD night in October 2026. Hours are 18:00 to 02:00 Sunday to Thursday and to 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. Google reviewers rate it 4.6 from about 240 reviews. Bring a card, not cash.

I’m a big fan of the Eagle and Eagle Blue in Tokyo so was keen to check this place out. It’s very good, if a different vibe to its Tokyo counterparts. Make sure you go upstairs - it’s be easy to miss that it’s even there and you’d end up staying on the downstairs dance floor. Friendly staff. A great addition to Osaka’s gay scene.
