Le Belgica is a dedicated gay bar on Rue du Marché au Charbon, the short street a few blocks from the Grand-Place where most of Brussels' gay bars are. It is a small, plain room that gets crowded. The crowd is young and mixed, mostly gay men plus lesbians and friends, and DJs play late.
It is open from 18:00, Tuesday to Sunday. It closes at 02:00 early in the week and at 04:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and it is closed on Mondays. Drinks are in the cheapest tier. Weekend nights spill out onto the pavement after midnight.

This was a truly 90s style gay club. Happening music, happening drinks, and happening people ready to dance and truly get down. No wildflowers like you find today, this is truly a place with a serious vibrant vibe like in the old days.
