Youth LGBT Organization Deystvie

Youth LGBT Organization Deystvie ('Action') is a Sofia-based LGBTI rights group founded in 2010. Its main work is legal aid and strategic litigation. Its lawyers took Koilova and Babulkova v. Bulgaria to the European Court of Human Rights, which ruled in 2023 that Bulgaria must provide legal recognition and protection for same-sex couples. It also does youth support and anti-discrimination work and is linked to the Sofia Pride Film Fest. There's no public walk-in office; the address is given on request.
