Udruga Rišpet

Udruga Rišpet is an LGBTQ+ association in Split, best known for organising Split Pride. The city's first Pride march, in 2011, was attacked by thousands of counter-protesters. The march has been held every year since, usually in June, and is Croatia's main Pride outside Zagreb. The association is also behind LGBT Centar Split, a shared space for Dalmatia's queer groups. Its work covers visibility, community support and advocacy in a region that is more conservative than the capital.
