Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus

Booked a room in the better category. At check-in, received a room on the 10th. Floor. Construction work with a jackhammer was taking place on the floor above. The noise disturbance was unbearable and was supposed to continue throughout the day for the entire week. At the reception, I was told in response to my complaint that the problem was that I had booked the higher room category. It was the first time I had been told that it is a problem when I am willing to spend more money! Simply an insolence. Subsequently, rooms of the lower room category on the 7th and 6th floors. Floor. The construction noise could still be heard here, but it was bearable. It was very unprofessional that I was not informed about the construction noise either in advance or at the reception. One also had to fight for compensation due to the lower room category.

Pleasant and quiet stay with good facilities. There was what was needed for a relaxing mini-vacation with the family

A very nice hotel with attentive and pleasantly friendly staff. Super location. The lobby in particular is very nicely furnished and invites you to linger.

Beautiful well maintained hotel located close to the train station, shops and attractions. Amazing staff, great breakfast offering and lovely rooms.

Disappointing experience. Too little food in all the breaks. The staff did nothing. No it help. The excuse was that there was another big conference

This is in the heart of Aarhus. Everything very close within walking distance. Great bars, restaurants, and shopping. Definitely recommend if you need to stay in the area.

Heavily stained carpet in the bedroom and bathroom stank of sewage. The shower didn't function properly and the safe was not working on arrival. All rather tired looking and in need of refurbishment.

Very nice hotel, friendly people at the desk and in the restaurant. Very spacious and comfortable room, spacious bathroom, well located. Delicious breakfast and the food in the restaurant was also very tasty. Nearby fitness we could use for free (included in our booking, otherwise for a small extra charge). We stayed here for three nights and definitely recommend this hotel!

A hotel belonging to a major international chain generally wouldn’t even deserve a review: the standards are consistent with the chain’s, and there are rarely any surprises. Well, this is one such case: while the rooms are spacious and equipped with the typical amenities of this hotel category, and the breakfast is truly plentiful and varied, the Wi-Fi service in the rooms really doesn’t measure up to the rest. That’s what this rating is based on (if you need to work using Wi-Fi, don’t come here!)
