Violette and Co

One of my favorite bookstores! Thank you for allowing us to have such spaces 🖤

coolest bookstore ever - also has a small English section with really interesting novels and feminist works

I loved my visit to Violette and Co. Bookstore-Café. It's a beautiful, warm, and incredibly cozy place where you want to spend hours browsing the shelves. The selection of queer, feminist, and LGBTQIA+ books is rich, varied, and truly captivating. You discover so many interesting books, from classics to more obscure gems. The bookstore is also known for its extensive collection of feminist and queer literature, as well as its café area designed as a welcoming and convivial space. I already love bookstores and coffee shops, but the combination of the two with this queer dimension makes the place truly unique. The atmosphere is gentle, inviting, and inspiring. I didn't try the coffee shop area, but the drinks looked delicious. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

Thank you for being here 🙏

The saleswomen didn't even say hello when I said hello to them. Very few books on mollusk sexuality, which is a shame, as I feel a connection to them. No salt water to drink, lots of lattes; I was very disappointed with the seaweed and iodine-flavored water. You should think of everyone, thank you.

Good choice of books and helpful staff!

my favorite cafe in paris

Cute coffee shop and bookstore with good coffee. Nice quiet place to hang out and or read some feminist literature.

Review of the bookstore section only (I didn't have coffee): This is perhaps the best bookstore in Paris. The organization is excellent and very user-friendly; for example, there's a section for "lesbian science fiction" and another for "LGBT secondary characters." The bookseller was very pleasant and offered helpful advice. The store isn't huge, but it's really well laid out. I highly recommend it.
