BarbieBar is a small, camp drag bar at Mehringdamm 77 in Kreuzberg, decorated in pink with Barbie dolls everywhere. It serves cocktails alongside homemade cakes and cookies, and has a lounge area. The crowd is queer and mixed, and it is quieter and more playful than Berlin's club side.
It is open Wednesday to Saturday from 18:00, until midnight midweek and 01:00 on Friday and Saturday. It is closed Sunday to Tuesday. It is a good early-evening stop. SchwuZ and the other bars around Mehringdamm and Gneisenaustraße are close by for later.

It is currently 23:40 on a Saturday night. Although all signs point to being open, they are not. Wasted 45 minutes travelling here, definitely bummed.

tealight candles on tables, low lighting, lounge music with a good bass, not too loud, reasonably busy but not too busy, 2 pints for €11.
