Incredible loft room for three of us. The loft is absolutely gigantic with every possible amenity provided including two full bath plus an additional toilet for guests. Any family spending 2+ days in Berlin should absolutely book this room. The kitchen is fully stocked whether you cook yourself or order in. Only complaint is that the room has incredible light during the day but there is not enough light during the night due to the light bulbs in the room. Love the Foosball table as well as piano. The loft is both fully DJ ready as well as ready for chess and Monopoly.
Rating: ⭐⭐ It started right with the booking: Pre-booking supposedly only possible with a credit card 💳❌ After a begging phone call and a conversation with the boss, suddenly everything was possible in cash after all – including the deposit 🤷♀️💶 Just a classic. Communication completely in English, in the middle of Germany 🇩🇪🤨 – after all, I also dutifully learned German, one can certainly expect that from others here as well. Two nights were booked, then of course our train was canceled (typical train service, standard procedure 🚆💥), and the Berlin taxi drivers left us standing there cold-bloodedly – too busy with the more lucrative trips to Hamburg 🚕💸➡️ So we walked back across the city with suitcases in tow, very romantic 🧳😅 Then the crowning glory in the evening: Without the boss on site, suddenly nothing worked again without a credit card, check-in refused – we were allowed to spontaneously look for another hotel 🙃 Up on the terrace, walk-in customers from the city instead of hotel guests, many with a gold Rolex on their wrist ⌚️✨ – whether a super-clown collector's item or a used bargain-bin version, you never know, the main thing is posing with it in swim trunks by the pool 🩳📸 Room itself okay, but more than two stars are not possible with the best will in the world.
Wonderful environment, but everything is overpriced and not worth the price.
Incredible place in Berlin, with a rooftop bar featuring a pool and a wonderful view. The restaurant is excellent, with service that is more than impeccable. Truly the best.
The building has tremendous history and we hadn’t been to Berlin since 1983. The hotel is full of people, mainly younger than ourselves, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the great breakfasts. Rooms were the usual Soho House style (we’ve been members for 17 years) with lots of towels, bath/shower products, delicious picky bits and drinks and a super comfy bed. A fascinating city and so much to explore.
I have been staying at this hotel for both business and pleasure since its opening and have until now never had a bad experience. On this visit I was rudely spoken to a number of times buy a very dismissive and poorly trained member of the team called Simone (a young man on reception). The attitude of this employee was beyond rude. I have never experienced anything like this prior, to say I was shocked was an understatement. The house manager witnessed one instance and instantly apologised for his employees behaviour however I would still not recommend booking this hotel based on this treatment. Its such a shame that this kind of behaviour goes unchecked as this was once a very welcoming and luxurious place to stay in Berlin. I would avoid and stay elsewhere if you are travelling on business and expect a courteous environment. This stay cost over 1700 euros and the experience was not reflective of the cost, never have I been spoken to so rudely in a supposed 5 star members club / hotel.
Great hotel- service was fantastic - Italian restaurant , rooftop bar and coffee shop on site great- Nice gym ( can get a bit crowded). Easy to get around- wonderful rooms - and warm chic chip cookies too! Definitely a place worth staying. 5 star experience for sure
Well I have been to this place and I just love it. For me it’s like a social club where you can go have some snacks and drinks and enjoy the nice music they play over the weekend They also have a very nice outdoor area for seeing Berlin streets in which you can smoke in. They also have a very nice outdoor pool
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at - and I travel a lot. I love everything about this hotel, from the design to the location to the staff. It all feels very special, elegant and stylish - yet relaxed and welcoming. I didn't want to leave my spectacular room. I have stayed here before and, once again, I was blown away.
Hotel where to breathe the industrial chic charm of Berlin Beautiful spa with coveted Turkish bath Cecconi restaurant on the ground floor very expensive and of low quality Restaurant club on the seventh floor good Spacious room with private Turkish bath King size bed with great linens
