Intervention e.V.

Intervention e.V. is a Hamburg association offering counselling, support and community for lesbian, bisexual and queer women. It's based at Glashüttenstraße 2 in the Karolinenviertel, next to Sternschanze. It gives advice on coming out, relationships, discrimination and everyday issues, and runs groups and events. It's a support organisation, not a bar or drop-in café, so check intervention-hamburg.de for counselling hours and the group calendar before you visit. It complements the broader LGBTQ+ services around St. Georg, which is where most of the city's gay bars are.
