Positive Voice / Athens Checkpoint

Positive Voice (Thetiki Foni) is the Greek association of people living with HIV. It runs Athens Checkpoint on Pittaki Street in Monastiraki, a community-based centre offering free, anonymous rapid testing for HIV, hepatitis B and C and syphilis, along with counselling. Testing is aimed squarely at gay and bisexual men and other key groups, and visitors can use it too: no ID is needed, and staff can usually work in English. Opening times change, so check the organisation's channels before you go.
