Rainbow Families Greece

Rainbow Families Greece (Ουράνιο Τόξο Οικογένειες) is the national organisation for LGBTQ+ parents, prospective parents and parents of LGBTQ+ children. Founded in 2012 and based in Athens, it is a member of NELFA, the European network of LGBTI family associations. It campaigned for the legal recognition of same-sex families, which Greece passed in 2024 with marriage equality and joint adoption. It runs support meetings, family events and visibility work. There is no public walk-in office, so contact the group through its online channels.
