Afterline is one of Milan's older gay venues, a disco-bar on Via Sammartini running alongside the tracks of Stazione Centrale. It reopened under new management in 2017 and mixes a bar area with a small dance floor and themed party nights. The crowd is mostly gay men, a mix of locals and travellers staying near the station. It sits just outside the Porta Venezia gay strip, about 15 minutes' walk away, so it works as a late stop after the bars there close. Hours change with the season and the party calendar, so check Afterline's website or social pages for the current schedule before heading over.

A bar that welcomes everyone who visits with open arms... A pleasant break from reality that's very nice to indulge in every now and then. The owner, Felix, is very kind and helpful.
