Tunnina Palermo — An Absolute Must in Palermo! An exceptional dining experience from beginning to end. Truly the complete package! Of all the restaurants we’ve experienced in Palermo, Tunnina stands out as something truly special. From the moment we were greeted until our final goodbye, every detail was thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Let’s start with the food. DO NOT MISS THE THREE-TOMATO PASTA! I cannot emphasize this enough. It was absolutely outstanding and one of the most memorable pasta dishes we’ve enjoyed. Even if you’re ordering something else, get one for the table to share. Trust me, you will not regret it! We also ordered fresh grilled fish, which was beautifully prepared and presented. Our wonderful server brought the cooked fish to our table, expertly deboned it, and personally plated and served it for us. What a lovely touch! In fact, this attention to detail extended throughout the meal. Food wasn’t simply dropped off at the table. It was genuinely served, with care and pride. The wine service was equally lovely. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Sicilian wine, served with the same attention and professionalism as everything else. And the staff! I cannot say enough about them. Our server was absolutely amazing, but what impressed us was the entire team. Every server was actively engaged, helping guests, assisting one another, and making sure everyone was enjoying their evening. No standing around, no inattentiveness, just genuinely warm, efficient, professional hospitality. It was a pleasure to watch. The atmosphere deserves its own five stars. Tunnina is tucked away from the busiest tourist streets, creating a much more relaxed and intimate dining experience. There is still the charm of Palermo’s pedestrian activity, but without crowds hovering over your table or cigarette smoke drifting across your dinner. The beautiful living hedge surrounding the outdoor seating provides privacy and creates a lovely, peaceful setting beneath the evening lights. Even the little details impressed us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the tables and presentation are attractive, and everything feels thoughtfully maintained. And yes, I’m even mentioning the bathroom! After traveling throughout Italy, finding a genuinely clean restroom with a proper toilet seat, a door that closes and locks, toilet paper, and soap was a welcome surprise! It’s these little things that demonstrate how much a restaurant cares about the entire guest experience. Tunnina isn’t simply a place to have dinner. It’s a place to enjoy the entire experience of dining out. Exceptional food, wonderful wine, remarkable service, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful attention to detail. If you’re visiting Palermo, put this restaurant on your list. And whatever you do, ORDER THAT THREE-TOMATO PASTA! We absolutely loved our evening and would return without hesitation. Amazing food and even more amazing service! The food exceeded our expectations, especially the tuna and salmon tartare. The fish was incredibly tender and fresh, and the presentation on seashells (we ordered the Plateau di Crudi) made the experience even more enjoyable. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service. From the moment you walk in until the very end of your dinner, you feel like you’re dining at a top-class restaurant. The entire Tunnina team makes you feel like a valued guest, offering professional recommendations on food and wine pairings, sharing interesting details about the origins of the dishes, and making sure every little detail is taken care of. A special mention goes to our waiter, Giovanni, who absolutely deserves a raise! His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuinely warm approach made our evening even more memorable. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression. One little tip: book your table through TheFork! We received a discount on the entire menu, which was a lovely surprise. Did not feel the quality of food , portions and menu offerings was worth the higher proces we paid as we have eaten in many restaurants in Palermo

Good food, fresh fish, friendly staff, a nice place, simply and pleasantly furnished. The temperature inside the place is pleasant.
