What a fantastic dinner! Honestly this is the best seafood pasta I’ve had in decades. It was all clearly cooked fresh to order. And the tiramisu absolute heaven! My goodness! Feeling very lucky to have found this diamond in Malta. Bon appetite!

It was great food, but with terrible plating (if you care about that haha). The craft cocktail I ordered was simoly amazing, I definitely recommend going there for the drinks. The dessert was a real downer however. We ordered a chocolate fondant, but once it came out it lokked like a splat of batter on the plate. It was undercooked, and once we told our server about it, he almost laughed as he insisted “it is supposed to be like this” with not a tiny hint of wanting to fix it. Apart from this, the servers were nice once they acknowledged us. Which is exactly the problem. Once we came in, the server immediately gave us a table and menus, but then we ended up having to wait at least 15 minutes to be able to order. The cleanliness wasnt great either, with the server cleaning the table as we sat down, which turned out to be a theme here. The tables stood dirty until someone walked in, the served showed them to the table, and then got the spray and cleaned them. The toilet wasnt perfect, but it smelled the best of most of the toilets I have used in Malta. All in all this was an okay restaurant to visit, and I believe you will enjoy it a lot if you are more lucky with the servers than we were. Do not recommend any of the desserts, but the food in itself was amazing.

kinda bougie for being an osteria, but nice spot overall. very nice location. central in valletta, alongside a beautiful popular street for walking. greeted quickly, but did take way too long before they actually let us order. walked past us multiple times, and we felt ignored. it seemed like the waitresses did everything else than take our order. however, when they actually took our order they were very kind. our waitress sadly didn’t have lots of knowledge about the menu, but tried his best and asked the kitchen to make sure we got our answer. he also recommended a very good wine for my meal. I had the lobster pasta, and they were able to break and pull out the lobster meat for me :) did not ask us until the very end if the food was good tho. were also willing to make a coffee baileys for me even tho it seemed like it wasn’t on the menu. Took a very long time for dessert to arrive. also terrible plating; lots of food mess on the corners of the bowl. it’s very easy to wipe off! the food was sadly disappointing for me. the pasta and sauce tasted more fishy than the lobster itself and that did not make a lot of sense for me. it just wasn’t my cup of tea, but if you enjoy seafood you’ll probably like it. the beef ragú was liked by my boyfriend but not me, as I thought that it lacked a bit flavor and punch. very generous portion tho! you will definitely get full here. the dessert was completely ok, but plating again was terrible. my fondant is just a splat on the plate, and the ice cream was halfway melted and barely cold. I told our waiter that the fondant was a bit too undercooked, and he said it’s supposed to be that way. was not a fan of that. the tables were dirty when we got seated, and it seems like they only clean and plate the tables when customers are seated. but cutlery was polished, and everything else seemed ok.

So good I went back twice during my Malta trip! The scallops and seafood linguine were absolutely delicious, and the mocktails were fantastic too. Lovely atmosphere, great food and a wonderful dining experience on both visits. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Valletta. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent! The place was very good. We had 2 dishes, one was good, the other was very bad, it had no taste. The 3 stars are for the staff and the one good dish. The second dish was not worth it at all

Absolutely the worst pasta I have ever eaten. It was undercooked, there was "fish" in my past that I couldn't even swallow because it was impossible to chew. In general no flavour what so ever, and there was something strange in my pasta which I had to remove all the time. As a starter we had "fried" fish. I state "fried" because it wasn't crunchy at all and the squid was like chewing gum. It has good reviews but I honestly don't understand why because not even the waiter was nice. We eat late. My best guess is that the cook already went home and that the cleaning staff needed to cook for us. The sparkling water that we had for a drink was Okey though
