Helseutvalget is Norway's national LGBTQ+ health organisation, founded in 1983 at the start of the HIV epidemic. It runs Sjekkpunkt, a free testing service for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, as well as chat support and sexual-health information aimed at queer people. Its Oslo office is at Arbeidersamfunnets plass 1, near Torggata. Visitors can use the testing service, but check its website for current drop-in times and booking rules, since these change. Staff can also point you to PrEP providers and other LGBTQ+ services in Oslo.
