SKOKS – Skeivt Kunst- og Kultursenter

SKOKS (Skeivt Kunst- og Kultursenter) is a volunteer-run queer art and culture centre at Margit Hansens gate 3 in Kampen, just east of central Oslo. It is a community house, not a bar. The programme is mostly free and sober-friendly: craft nights, life drawing, book clubs, exhibitions and social evenings. It is usually open on some weekday evenings plus event nights, but the schedule depends on volunteers, so check its social media for what's on. Newcomers are welcome, and it's a good way to meet people in Oslo's queer community outside nightlife.
