You don't plan a route here; you walk the passages and stop where the music suits you. The scene skews towards men, bears and the over-30s, it gets going after midnight, and on summer weekends it doesn't stop until 06:00 or 07:00.
How La Nogalera works
La Nogalera is a raised 1960s complex of plazas and passages (Antonio Lamela designed it in 1961) between Calle Casablanca, Calle Danza Invisible and the station. - Vanilla Cafe: coffee and cocktails on the plaza, open from the afternoon.
- 3 Monkeys: café-bar on Calle Danza Invisible with a big terrace and the most Google reviews in the complex.
- Pourquoi Pas?: Local 703, running since the late 1960s by its own account, now with drag nights.
- El Armario, Vida Bar, Colibrí Copas and Baloo Bar Lounge: small plaza bars for the first copas.
- Bar Havana and Boomerang (lesbian-friendly, closed Wednesdays) in Pueblo Blanco, plus René's Bar La Esquina, a Dutch-run corner bar.
- AQUA: the corner complex as you walk in, with a terrace bar, a club and the Bunker cruising space downstairs; open until 06:00 at weekends.
- Parthenon: a gay disco for about 30 years, from midnight to sunrise, with a darkroom.
- Centuryon: the big room on Calle Casablanca, Saturdays 01:00-07:00 plus the Matrix parties (Halloween, New Year until 08:00).

Babel, in the former Pricillas on Calle Danza Invisible 4, draws an older bear crowd from 16:00, Tuesday to Sunday. Lights Bar is the best-rated show bar (4.9 on Google from 600+ reviews), with drag after midnight. Chessa Bar, Las Vegas Copas Show and Marta, Cariño! by Ritual also run late shows, and Mariquita Copas turns into a dance bar. Show times are rarely published: ask at the door.
Clubs

Queer Culture Bar and Luxuria Copas are recent openings on Calle Danza Invisible with few reviews yet. Nomadic Boys mentions a "Big One Club" opening on Calle Casablanca in 2026; we couldn't confirm it.
