Chessa is a small gay bar in the middle of La Nogalera, the plaza that holds most of Torremolinos's gay bars. It serves proper cocktails and some bar food, and the terrace fills up with a mix of locals and visitors. Saturday nights have a drag show hosted by the resident queen, Miss Dolores, when the place is at its busiest. Reviews are strong (4.7 from about 80). It works as an early-evening terrace stop before the bigger bars around the square get going. It has been known to open around 5pm and stay open until 2 or 3am at weekends, but check before relying on that.

Very nice and cosy bar. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Possible to sit outside on the terrace. Also nice that the bar opens 17:00 for a afternoon drink. Highly recommend
