ODTU LGBTI+ Dayanismasi (METU LGBTI+ Solidarity)

ODTU LGBTI+ Dayanışması (METU LGBTI+ Solidarity) is a student group at Middle East Technical University in Ankara's Çankaya district, active since 1996. Over the years it has held campus Pride marches and queer solidarity events. Police broke up its 2019 campus Pride march, and nineteen students and one academic were prosecuted. All were acquitted in 2021. It has no public address and works through student networks, so it is listed here as part of Ankara's LGBTQ+ history and community, not as a place to visit.
