Chkalovsky Naturist Beach

Chkalovsky Beach, below French Boulevard between Dolphin Beach and Arkadia, has long been known as Odesa's naturist beach and has been reported as popular with gay men on summer afternoons. We have no recent confirmation of how it is used now. The shore is pebbly, so bring footwear. Since 2022 Odesa's beaches have been subject to martial-law restrictions, mine risk and closures, with access changing by season and by official order. Check current city rules and obey all signage. Be discreet; Ukraine has no specific law against gay sex, but public sex is illegal.
