⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently performed at The Mount Hotel for a very special 60th diamond wedding anniversary celebration. The Mount provided a lovely setting for this important family occasion. As a professional singer and entertainer, it was a pleasure to provide the live music and entertainment, helping create a memorable evening for Karen B's parents (Jon and Lily) and their family. I would particularly like to thank Sarah and Maddie for their help and support throughout the event. They were welcoming, professional and attentive, helping everything run smoothly. Maddie was also kind enough to compliment my vocals, which was lovely to hear. Thank you to the team for making me feel welcome. The Mount is a fantastic local venue for celebrations and special occasions, and I would be delighted to return to provide live singing and entertainment for future events. Highly recommended for anyone planning a special celebration.

OK….drinks etc expensive…

The service personnel were really courteous, polite and always smiling, offering selections of various restaurants in the area or things to do. Very well located and beautiful scenery around, definitely around the outside to view the beautiful yard at the back of the hotel. Parking was on site and spacious. The restaurant was good, with a nice variety of things to choose from. The room was very small, a little outdated and no AC, which they do offer fans in the room. The only major down side was the mattress which had metallic buttons ( refer to pictures) which you could feel through the bed sheet the whole night, made for an uncomfortable sleep unfortunately. When politely mentioned to the front desk in the morning, she apologized and said they would discuss with management to add a topper those mattresses. But it was very clean. In conclusion, this place is quite beautiful and a great place to stay for the most part.
