Lookout Bar

I genuinely used to be a regular at this bar but it’s become so unbelievably disappointing to me. The ONLY nights they are open they force drag down our throats and limit the dancefloor to the bare minimum. I see SO MANY comments and complaints from people who want a drag free night without cover or pressure to tip drag performers every 10 minutes, especially during a recession… but clearly this bar doesn’t care about its patrons as it NEVER takes any feedback seriously or makes any changes to the venue all the while hiding any comments that seem to call them out for any of this…. Unbelievably disappointing especially since Ottawa has very limited safe spaces for queer folk. I haven’t been in a long time and have zero desire to go these days. Finding a happier outcome lately to take my money anywhere else these days, and my queer friends feel the same. Not one to leave a bad review unless truly necessary but this NEEDS to be said louder.

10 dollar cocktails, 12 to 16 dollars for 4 shots, AND singing our hearts out at karaoke night, will definitely be back again!

Best queer pub in ottawa. Must try. Good drinks and atmosphere. Check their drag shows ❤️ and their karaoke nights on wed/sun ❤️

i want slushy to be the full time dj, she has the sets and listens to her audience. the other djs repeat the same set every time and as a regular i just want more queer-oriented and up to date dj talent/ SLUSHYYY<<<3 love yall

My first time being here & it was an incredible experience! Your staff is so cheerful, and inviting. The performances are just WOW 1000/10!💖💫 Atmosphere makes you feel right at home, absolutely coming back, and recommending to EVERYONE!
