關於此地 The ArQuives — Canada's LGBTQ2+ Archives
The ArQuives, formerly the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives, is Canada's national LGBTQ2+ archive. It grew out of The Body Politic newspaper collective in 1973 and is among the largest independent LGBTQ+ archives in the world. Its collections include books, periodicals, personal papers, photographs, posters and the records of activist groups, including The Body Politic itself.
It occupies a house at 34 Isabella Street, a short walk from the Church-Wellesley Village. The archive is largely volunteer-run and opening hours are limited, so check the website before visiting. Researchers should arrange appointments in advance. Public exhibitions and events are announced online.

This place is an essential resource - the aptly-named Arquives for Canada's 2SLGBTQ+ queer history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Building is wheelchair accessible.
