Rainbow Refugee

Rainbow Refugee is a Vancouver group, founded in 2000, that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution over their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or HIV status. It offers peer support and help with the asylum process, and it runs the Rainbow Refugee Assistance Partnership for private sponsorship. Its listed office is at 1033 Davie Street in Davie Village. Contact it through rainbowrefugee.com first, because meetings may be by appointment and not drop-in.
