Gourmet Market

The service was extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable for a restaurant with so many staff members on the floor. We counted more than eight waiters serving only four tables, yet no one came to greet us, welcome us, or offer us menus when we arrived. One of us had to get up and ask for the menus, which should never happen in a well-managed restaurant. After that, we had to call someone over again just to order the starters. The person who came told us that our table was not assigned to them, but instead of informing the right waiter or making sure someone attended to us, they simply walked away. We spent almost the entire meal trying to get someone’s attention, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. To make matters worse, while guests were still eating, members of the staff started sweeping the restaurant floor around the dining area. This felt very inappropriate, unhygienic, and unprofessional, especially in a place where people are still having their meal. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, supervision, and basic customer service completely overshadowed the meal. A few suggestions for improvement: guests should be greeted as soon as they arrive, menus should be brought promptly, tables should be clearly assigned, and staff should communicate with each other instead of leaving customers unattended. A manager or supervisor should also be present on the floor to make sure every table is being properly served. Cleaning tasks such as sweeping should be done before or after service, not while customers are eating. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Good food is important, but professional, attentive, and hygienic service is essential in any restaurant.

It's a very beautiful place, located in Punta Cana, next to the Village, offering a Venezuelan food experience with the best presentations.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere was family-friendly, and it's also pet-friendly.

The restaurant was fine, but I find it a bit ridiculous to pay 800 pesos for 2 eggs and 3 slices of gouda cheese and ham with toast.
