Great location, allowed early check in. But.....paid higher room rate for terrace-large room...size of room is definitely nothing special-dont waste your bucks there.....terrace? Great to have but I was stuck in a corner-with a perfect view of the roof and broken gutters, again-dont waste the $$. The thermostat is dead, now stuck waiting for engineer to come fix...would leave the slider open for air but with the roof access security is an obvious concern. Parking rate is par for area ($40 nite). Room is clean, but definitely would have saved the dollars if I knew they stick me in a corner...Marriott used to be my "go-to", they are consistently falling.....sad

It was the most expensive hotel in the area but the bed was like sleeping on an air mattress. The mattress was lumpy and squeaky. Whenever my husband moved I was tossed around like a rag doll. The toilet ran all night and there were rust stains on the shower walls. There was no sound buffering at all. When people were talking in the hall or next door, we could hear them clear as day as if the door was open.

The room and hotel were safe and clean. The location is good. However: - My room didn’t really have a window. It is a small one high up that had a blackout curtain with broken mechanism to raise it up. - There was a $25 per night resort fee that got me a $15 per night credit at the restaurant. Not sure what the other $10/night was supposed to be for. - There was some kind of light tapping nose all night. Almost like rain on a metal roof, but it wasn’t raining. - The temperature control panel would randomly come on to full brightness. By no means terrible, but I think 3 out of 5 is fair. YMMV

First, staff here is excellent and I think they are the saving grace of this “4 star” hotel. The actual hotel is HORRIBLE, I have stayed at motels on the side of the highway that was more updated than this place. Marriott has completely failed with this hotel. The rooms here are not tired, they are completely exhausted. My room like it came from the 40’s, and like all the furniture is from the 40’s. The experience here is so bad I checked out at 3:40 AM and went home because the AC sounds like a jet engine. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone, Marriott absolutely needs to completely renovate this hotel from top to bottom.

Sy was extremely considerate, helpful, and friendly throughout my stay. I genuinely looked forward to seeing his smiling face every day. When I ran into a small issue with my room, he stepped in right away and helped me move rooms with zero hassle. I will gladly return and stay here again, and Sy is a big reason why. He is indispensable and will be a tremendous asset to this team.

Our root was very cold and the thermostat was not working. The engineer was called and we heard nothing. I complained again and was told a part was needed to fix it. They didn’t offer a solution until our last night. I went to the front desk to speak to the manager and was told he would contact me. He never did. I asked for a discount on the room due to our inconvenience and never received one. We also got charged for 2 nights of parking but I didn’t have a car When I reviewed my online bill they didn’t fix the charge. I will never come back to your hotel.

Boutique hotel in the center of old Town, and is part of Marriott. Nice rooms, even if not in pristine conditions. Bathroom of good size even if sink space comes at a premium. There is a destination charge. Parking on site, paid. Good breakfast option where you can use the member credit at the King & Rye a cozy full fledged restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at The Alexandrian Hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a beautiful atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely come back!

Beautiful hotel, amazing location in walking distance to everything. Love the restaurant. Terrific staff. Just the construction below the room was annoying when I stayed, but hopefully it will be done soon. Overall, I loved this hotel and would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you!
