Pacific Center for Human Growth

The Pacific Center for Human Growth, on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ community centres in the United States, founded in 1973. Its main service is low-cost, sliding-scale mental-health counselling for LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples and families. It also runs peer support groups, youth programmes and community events. It is a service organisation, not a social venue.
