This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, which is part of Bonvoy as a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. It is a hip and fashionable hotel with great vibe. Rooms are well designed and beds are very comfortable. I prefer the skyline rooms as they have floor to ceiling windows. Kelsey at the front desk was a super star and gave the extra mile. As a Lifetime Bonvoy Platinum, i have been to many hotels and have met a lot of front desk agents and i can anticipate that Kelsey will be in management positions all the way to the top as she is excellent. My only observation in terms of room to improve would be the lobby restaurant as i found the menu very limited and uneventful. I didn't visit the rooftop bar but perhaps they have better offering there.

Great service, excellent location, and so many wonderful amenities! ✨ This hotel offers great value, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Everything made our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it! 🏨❤️

The hotel was great. Rooms were amazing and the housekeeping staff were outstanding! The hotel management however was not very hepful. Called to let them know we didn't have ice on our floor and the floor below and asked for some one to bring ice...I was told no "they didn't have enough help". So, I kept climbing andfinally found a floor that had ice. About an hour later, someone delivered 4 plastic cups of ice, music so loud in his ears he coudn't possbily hear me. Basically saying "'here.." "you needed ice?". Other wise the reception staff has bee VERY accomodatingl

There was a continual hum whenever I turned on the hot water for drink and shower. Sometimes it got loud enough to make me turn the water off and on to try to make it go away.

I chose the Dalmar based on its design aesthetic and promise of Sferra luxury cotton sheets despite being a bit more expensive and less well-located than some downtown Ft Lauderdale peers. The place seems generally loosely run - not terrible, just not a 5 star A game. Chairs not in place, crumbs and trash around the lobby and bar…. My real gripe was that the sheets - contrary to prominent advertising in the descriptions of accommodations and each room type - are not Sferra, not cotton and not luxury. I may be more sensitive than most but hate polyester. When I got into bed and realized they were 60% poly sheets, I called the desk. The attendant was clueless and asked if I wanted polyester sheets brought to me. I asked for a manager. The manager said he was unaware that the website mentioned any kind of sheets and there was nothing to be done. Not an offer of a scotch, a discount, a smoothie …. Not really an apology. Nothing. On checkout after a mediocre breakfast, I mentioned to the day manager my experience. She was more apologetic and offered 10k Bonvoy points. Small consolation, and I would heed the mid google reviews and avoid this place which might have been better when they opened but is below Marriott standards and well below any 5 star luxury standard now.

I was here for a quick business trip, so only one night and my stay was meh. The employees were friendly and helpful. The aesthetic of the hotel and room was nice but I found it to be a little run down. The soap dispensers in my room were fading, one didn’t work, the shower had lovely tile but between the tile was starting to age and look a little dirty/moldy and the shelf the soaps were attached to on the wall were loose and seemed like it would fall off soon. The pool was closed due to a swarm of bees and some of the machines in the gym either weren’t properly working or were making loud noises that made it seem like they were on their last leg. Was a fine stay overall but I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.
