Omni Royal Orleans

The Omni is right in the middle of the French quarter, surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment! The best news is Omni Royal is renovating and it’s amazing! They gave me a private tour of the new floors, I spent a little time in the new rooftop pool, and had some amazing New Orleans cuisine in their world famous restaurant. I highly recommend the Omni Royal! Great staff, great amenities, easy parking!

Worst steak I’ve ever had. You would think it’s the French quarter.

We Always stay at Omni one of our fav hotels ! This location staff was super helpful, the rooms a little outdated but due to the building being old it’s understandable, The staff happened to replace two of our tv remote that were not working , the vibes were freaky mostly due to the ghost tours and what happened on the roof this hotel a long time ago .. I love the location and how close everything was , it’s a total dead zone for AT&T phones and the neighboring garage. Is also a dead zone so just beware

Great place to stay in

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times. Service was down on this trip. My room was ok, but they put us in the same hall as the workers who are redoing the rooms above us. We experienced loud music from the room next door on several occasions and security didn't help. Housekeeping was off as well. Failed to to clean my room by 3pm, claimed I left the do not disturb sign out, which was untrue, said they'd clean the room right away and an hour later hadn't done it. Got torn towels. I called for my car 30 minutes early, but the garage didn't answer. The front desk promised it would be available shortly. Went to the garage and still had to wait. I was promised a parking credit, but it wasn't on the bill. Had a bad lunch in the restaurant. My wife ordered a chicken salad. After a 45 minute wait it arrived and it was missing ingredients and the chicken was dry and stringy. My gumbo came served as some grilled shrimp and rice with the gumbo poured at the table. The roux was very dark, black really, and was burned and bitter. We left and got a nice lunch across the street.

Originally, I was only staying for one night for my birthday, but the experience was so good I extended for another night. From being contacted ahead of my stay to see if I needed anything, to an early check-in and finding champagne and a birthday cake waiting in my room, the little touches really made a difference. The location was great, and the experience from valet to check-in and throughout my stay was genuinely excellent. I also had a wonderful birthday dinner with a very attentive waitress, followed by a great and very filling breakfast the next morning. A really enjoyable birthday stay, and somewhere I would happily return to.
