Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort

While checking in my family in the late evening one of the older gentleman in the travel leisure sections gave us his sale pitch. Trying to be polite was stayed and listened for a while, bags and suitcases in hand, never offered a place to set them down or at least stop at our room. The most egregious part came when walking away I stated that my grandmother is tired and would like to set her things down and the man said, "She looks pretty good to me." I immediately told him not to comment on how my grandmother looks and not to cross that boundary. He then told me, that wasn't a boundary and he was just saying, "she looks good for traveling all day." I reminded him that my boundaries aren't set by him and walked away. I later reported the inappropriate harassment to the GM via email but have yet to receive a response. The gentleman made my grandmother so uncomfortable I had to wait for them to leave to share this experience. I do truly believe the gentleman should attend the CA sexual harassment training again and take in the message that his intent does not supersede the perception of someone saying he made them uncomfortable by commenting on their looks.

We would like to recognize Chris Jean Paul as the best in the entire company, and that is saying a lot. In no other situation have we been as thoroughly lied to in order to get a sales transaction. We asked the same question multiple times, and he lied straight to our face each and every time. I assume he gets a nice commission, so he goes home happy. He is an asset to be treasured within the organization, as he helps the bottom line, and his own, but if you get a meeting and he is your representative, run, know that the only time he is lying is when he opens his mouth.

Be aware, Ocean view does not always mean beach front. As long as you can sea the ocean, even from the side. You enjoy the railway and Street noise. You could do better on a tent on the beach.

Awesome soaking jacuzzi tub. 10 stars for that alone

Great resort on the coast. Majority of rooms have a some sort of view of the ocean!! Plenty of restaurants nearby. Free parking in their parking garage and valet available. It's a timeshare so the downside is the pressure to attend a meeting. We attended and it was one of the better ones for us but still took 2 hours.

Best location! Almost on the beach but safe from the high tides that have come through recently. Right at the shore end of the pier. Great walking. Lots of food choices. Super sunset views
