The Brick Hotel

This is the most relaxing beautiful hotel. Hidden treasure tucked between two options for tropical tiki drinks, traditional downstairs in the lobby and modern upstairs with the sun in Skyview a must stop in. The food is delicious on top of it.

The cutest little hotel with amazing vibes and really great communication and service! Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay. The location is unbeatable, a short walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, and the beach! The communication and check in process was smooth and easy. Highly recommend staying here!

We rented out all 10 rooms of the Brick for our families and wedding party for our wedding this Labor Day weekend for 3 nights, and it was truly an exceptional and unique experience that added so much to our wedding weekend. The location is amazing and so central to everything in Oceanside. Having all of the rooms felt almost like an Airbnb where we all got to stay together and hang out at the tiki bar or rooftop throughout the weekend. We had our afterparty at the tiki bar & cococabana and it was SO FUN. The dj set on the rooftop was electric and everyone had a blast. The tiki bar drinks were delicious and the bar tenders were so nice and accommodating. The text concierge service was very quick and easy. The bride had her hair and makeup done in the suite and the natural lighting was perfect and it was very spacious and calming. I would 100% recommend the brick hotel for a wedding party. I’m giving the rooms 4 stars because a few of them were quite small and we did feel a little bad for those guests that had to stay for 3 nights in the smallest rooms. Those rooms are probably better for shorter stays. Also the sink faucets in some of the bathrooms were very low to the sink which made filling up water hard. It also would be nice to have a water fill-up station somewhere with filtered water. Overall 10/10 experience.

We rented out all 10 rooms of the brick for 4 nights for our wedding weekend. The location is great, as are most of the staff, and the rooms themselves are very nice, though definitely not sound proof. You will hear your neighbors (in our case our friends) and the music from the rooftop bar, it is LOUD. The hallway smelled really strongly of marijuana from the moment we got there (none of our friends smoke so no idea where it was coming from). I had two problems with management that weekend, first, after the wedding I asked if they could put my wedding cake I had saved in the fridge, they happily obliged - great!- but the next morning when I came down to get it they had LOST OUR WEDDING CAKE. I don't know if someone ate it or threw it away but I was so upset. When I asked management, they said it wasn't their responsibility and that they were never supposed to have guests things in the freezer anyhow. If I had known that I would have left it at a family member's airbnb down the street. Second, we had reserved the rooftop restaurant for our afterparty, just after midnight they asked if we wanted to keep it open later without clarifying the cost and ended up charging us over 2k for staying open an extra hour. They argued that we had approved it the night before but it felt intentionally unclear, they also promptly kicked us out at 1:30. The entire reason we had booked out the brick in the first place was because we were told we could go as late as we wanted if we booked out all the rooms as to not disturb other guests. They even locked the door to the roof that night (it was unlocked on the prior nights). It is a cute hotel, but I wish I had booked something else for that weekend and I would not stay here again.
