The Dandelion

The food here is absolutely delicious and the customer service is top tier! I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m newly pregnant and still learning about what foods I can and cannot eat. We asked a silly question on one of the foods and the man who helped us not only answered our question but gave us the lowdown on all of the appetizers we were about to share and any other food I was interested in ordering, down to the croutons on the Waldorf salad. It was truly so helpful and refreshing having someone so knowledgeable, especially because that is not the typical experience at all. Other places can’t even tell me if their cheese is pasteurized or not. And it all tasted amazing (I had the ricotta, Waldorf salad, the shepherd’s pie, and a mock mojito. I tried my friends’ mac and cheese and fish and chips as well. Oh and the bread was so soft. I think I tried some other stuff too but the pregnancy brain is not helping me rn 😅) Our waiter was very attentive and had such a vibrant and positive vibe. He even noticed it was our birthday and we were surprised as no one had warned them in advance. He figured it out from pure observation (of a very small birthday gift bag). The restaurant was clean and had great ambience as well. Truly cannot express enough how happy I was that my friends and I got to experience The Dandelion! Even after making reservations at the last minute. We even got cupcakes for our birthdays, thank you all!

Had the fish and chips. Very good! But the crab croquet were Amazing!!!

The rabbit pie is insanely good.....rated 4.9/5 Shepherds pie is awesome as well... rated 4.8/5 The whiskey cocktail "cherry o sour" is devine, best whiskey cocktail I've ever had. Chocolate set cream is delicious. Btw, they also pour a perfect Guinness.

Delicious food, warm and cool ambience, kind servers!

First of all, I can not speak highly enough about our server Dixie, she was absolutely amazing!!!!!!! One of the best servers I've had. She is so informative about the menu, the restaurant and the sister restaurants that it was impressive! For apps we got the hummus and the cheese board both delicious. The Tandoori chicken is delicious. After hearing how it was prepared made it even better.I have never had chicken that tender and flavorful, the rice yummm...For dessert we got the Eton Mess which she recommended after the chicken and it was perfect to match. Also got Banoffee Trifle which looked delicious as well. The chef is amazing!!!!!. I highly recommend and we will be back! I am from out of town and will definitely make the trip back to The Dandelion and can't wait to try their sister restaurants as well.
